phone-a-coach, or how minah tops her class....

Remember our earlier tale of Minah, who got all A's in her UPSR, and now in Form 1 scores 95% each English test, now certified coach....

"So you see me Minah, from Form 1 Arif, up there on the stage [ having struggled through 36 Keywords books, read through 366 Collection of Malaysian Folk tales, completed all the oral and written work demanded of 8 grammar practice books, Primary English for Malaysians], now reading my favourite story at our school's
Kelab Tunas Ehsan Coach
Graduation ..."

and this is the kind of sms's or sms-sation
she has with those she presently coaching,
and how she manages 'remote coaching'.

-SMS from Laskar Pelangi Ungu group member [ Kelab Tunas Ehsan coaching participant)

Tupang tanya BI sebok guane 'EXACTLY'? kut BM 'EJEKLI' ke?
[pray tell how do you say 'EXACTLY' in English? Is it 'EJEKLI' as in Malay?]

Minah goes to ebook portal, clicks on pronunciation dictionary to confirm, records her readout, sms audio msg to Laskar Pelangi Ungu group member.

Laskar Pelangi Ungu group member responds later with her own readout audio msg to get it right. Check!.

So she now has 366 stories to read out loud to and coach her friends, and she's enjoying every minute of it because she need not attend English tuition anymore, and gets to improve her fluency and enforce her grammar.
